Firstly,
THANK YOU, for the new subscription plans. My only issue now is how to incorporate it into my site, so my customers can sign up without my manual entry.
Please help me.

So is it safe to assume that at this time, I cannot add the subscription feature to my site allowing my customers to create their own subscription plans?

Hi @NaturalHour,
Thanks for writing to the Seller Community with this question!
You can create different subscriptions and subscription plans to offer on your website for your customers to choose from. However, your customers would not be able to create their own subscriptions. Feel free to let us know which subscriptions you'd like to offer, and we'd be happy to help.

Hi, I found this thread and have a similar issue / question.
I have a subscription to "Appointments Plus". I do not wish to also pay for any Square Online features as I already pay Godaddy for a domain and website building tool and hosting.
I'm a Small Business, no employees, very little to no "budget" for "Marketing and Advertising".
I've been able to allow customers to "book" appointments with an embedded Square application.
Why am I not able to "share" or "create" some sort of button or link that would allow customers that visit my already established website, that would allow customers to "subscribe" to a "Membership Plan"?
By "subscribe", I mean;
1) Click button, open associated Square application.
2) Enter name, phone number, email address (or have Square recognize that the customer is already a registered customer.
3) Select the offered "Membership Plan" of choice or specified.
4) Enter Payment option with ability to save to file for future use.
5) Enroll / purchase "Membership" the same way the person would pay for an item sold on an already existing website using the payment link.
When I attempt to do this (Share a link) for the Subscription Plans, I am informed that the item isn't eligible to be sold online.
Does this indicate to Square Merchants that while we don't need to have an active "Square Online" site to sell items on an already existing site, we DO need to have an active "Square Online" site to sell "subscriptions" on an already existing website?
Thanks sincerely.

Hey @KTTT,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience—it's clear you've put a lot of thought into optimizing your business setup, and I understand your concerns about additional costs for features you may not need.
There are no monthly fees or fixed costs for Square Subscriptions – just 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction on each subscription. To sell subscriptions on your Square Online site, you will need to upgrade to a Square Online paid plan.
You can learn more here.
Let me know if this helps.
