I just want an email or something when a customer orders a new item. It seems simple but the help section of the site doesn't live up to its name

You should be notified when you receive a new order. Did you recently change your Square account email address on your Dashboard by any chance ? When you do, the email on file for your website doesn't change automatically. You can check the email address on file by clicking on your business name on the top right of the Online Overview Page. If you'd like to edit the address, you'll have to email our Support Team directly as we need written consent from you.
In addition, make sure to:
- check if email notification settings are properly selected,
- check your spam folder or other email filters,
- add noreply@messaging.squareup.com to your list of contacts.
