Google searches showing appointments site
Hello,
About a year ago, I had an appointments site that I no longer use with a different name. I since then have changed to an online store shipping products, however when I try to search up the new name on Google, the new site name comes up with the old booking appointment URL site. I have disabled appointments through the Dashboard so I am not sure where it's pulling that square book site from?? Everything from email to site has been updated and anything regarding appointments has been deleted. Is there anything I can do to show the right results? I was thinking it might have something with the SEO or something?

Hey @TechCowboys
How long ago has this change been implemented?
I know you said you removed the online booking feature, but did you deactivate google reserve first under Appointments > Channels > Google > Get Started > Deactivate?
I'm not sure if that would make a difference , but it can also take a few days for it stop showing on Google if it was a recent change.

@Minion, the online booking under Google > Get started actually shows Request Activation now.
I also updated the indexed page on Google. It has been a couple of days now but it still shows the same Google results with the old URL.
I have the upgraded plan, but the Google results still show a square.site page
Thanks,

Hey @TechCowboys Okay, I just did a Google search for your site Are you referring to the URL breadcrumb shown in the picture below? It's not actually a booking page, but takes you directly to your homepage correct? I was assuming it was a Google My Business listing showing the "book/reserve now" option.
I'm probably of little help now, but seems to be a permalink issue maybe? I'm not sure if there is a way in Square Online to rebuild permalinks if that is the issue
