Square Online
Hi, @anjesmalls! You've done a great job so far!
You've got a defined brand and the look is consistent across product images and the site design, there's no clutter, you've included your Instagram feed for dynamic content, and you're making good use of your footer.
Have you thought about using a custom domain name as opposed to a square.site subdomain? It's an extra level of professionalism you can add, although you'll need to pay for it yearly along with a site upgrade. A site upgrade will also give you some additional features as well depending on which upgrade you choose. The performance plan has abandoned cart emails, gifting options, and item reviews, which would be really cool to see on your product pages.

Hey! Thank you so much! I worked really hard to get it like that! I definitely have concidered it but Im not quite there money wise to make that full switch over out of thhe free domain square has given me. Hopefully in a 6 months time I can give myself a custom domain and go with that yearly upgrade
A very wise approach to it! I look forward to seeing your business grow and reach that milestone. ๐

Thank you so much for your advice Adam!! ๐ฅฐ
Thanks so much for this, @AdamB !
This is an awesome offer to have yโall take a look at our sites and get feedback, and Iโd love to take advantage of it!
Thanks so much!
Yes! I am super happy to see you asking @pessosices!
I think the main points you could consider making changes are these:
1. The use of three colors of text can look a bit busy to the eye (although I can understand why you're using both red and blue). I think if you keep the blue for links and red or important text, but use black for headers it will help reduce visual overload.
2. I think you could probably use less centered text, since left-aligned generally easier to read. There are some places where it makes sense, though, like the food allergy warning where it helps it pop visually.
3. Adding in some section background colors or images can help break up the look as a person scrolls some, which in term makes it easier to read. Your allergy warning section uses a slightly different background color, and it helps the brain digest the content from each section better as it views everything in bite size pieces rather than as one big whole.
Outside of that, nothing is really jumping out at me other than that I really want ice cream now!

Awesome, @AdamB
Thanks so much for all that super thoughtful & insightful feedback! Iโll definitely get working on implementing it!
You're welcome!!

Absolutely, @Sam_400ยบ!
1. Like Pesso, I think you could benefit from some variety with backgrounds, although you'll want to stay with darker colors so your fonts are readable.
2. I think the font used in your footer and a few other places on the site (like the pre-orders page) is a little small and harder to read. You might consider just using the same serif font you are using elsewhere. Sometimes sticking to just one or two fonts is best.
3. You could add another section or page to the site with a contact form so people can use that to email you.
I'm pretty sure I stared at that picture of the burning wood for a full 15 seconds wondering when the last time I had wod-fired pizza was (it's been a while).

Thanks Adam - I've uploaded 'my' fonts that I use everywhere else & know that they end up a little small but kinda put up with it. Looks like it's worth just going with more standard fonts for improved readability ๐๐ป
I'll have a think on backgrounds, my original thoughts were sticking with the black/grey & white then using instagram & headers to give colour. Is the view of variety a personal one or is there some professional theory out there I should be checking out too?
Keeping the number of fonts down is a general principle of web design, although it predates web design and is also true with print media, etc. 99 Designs has a pretty straightforward guide on 4 key website design principles which is a pretty quick read.

Hi Adam My name is Daren and have had an ok time building my square website. I Just need more Product Images, but I am having a difficult time making it user friendly. I need to make the main items page and the "Similar Items" section easier to add the items to cart by having an add to cart option instead of a shop now button. Please advise.
Hi, @D-WiN!
So on category pages, the similar items section, and the main Shop All page, you want an add to cart button right on the item instead of having it link to item page? There isn't really a way to do that, unfortunately, although I can understand why you might want that. Hopefully something that we can add in the future! I could see having two buttons: a view more button to view the item page and another to just add the item to the cart.

Yes please the way my website is currently configured it is extremely hard to use without those options. Please forward to you and your team it would make it where I can tell our customers about our website instead of only taking phone orders. Or have a specialist consult us over thd phone about it for a fee if possible.
No problem at all, Dave.
Visually, I think your site looks great and I don't really see anything you need to change. One thing that might be cool to see is an "About Us" page or similar. Customers sometimes like to read about a business to get some additional context about who they are buying from and what they can expect from the business. It'll also have the benefit of giving more content for Google to use to rank your site with.

hi adamb,
would appreciate thoughts and critique of my website : https://randallkincaid.com/
this is all kind of new to me.. any suggestions?
thanks in advance..
enjoy your day!
Hi, @randallkincaid!
Your site is really well laid out and easy to follow. I think the only suggestion I'd have is like some of the other stores; you could use a different background color for the section of featured items to help make that pop a little bit and break up the scrolling white background some.
Side note, the colors on the "colors of the sea" barrettes are really cool!
