Free Shipping Progress Bar

Would it be possible to add a 'free shipping progress bar' in the baskets and at checkout. Couple this with upselling and cross-selling at the checkout. The bar will visually encourage customers to add more items to the basket to attain free delivery and upsell/cross sell in the basket will make it easier to do at checkout to do this.

This function is very visual and will encourage higher basket values. The screenshot below shows what others are doing.
