Please fix our SEO problems! Need the ability to have <H1> tag and for Google Crawler to detect copy on pages.
I didn't know these were not possible when I signed up for Square Online.

Hi @shopfybr,
I reached out to our Square Online Team.
They stated Our Banner Headline area in the Main Banner section of the website is formatted as a H1 tag and can confirm it's on the live site.
I hope this was helpful, please let me know if you need anything else.

I understand and see that it does show up in the HTML. But those H1 tags are supposed to be within the body tags of HTML and if you look the body tags are empty even though your site maybe full content the body is empty. Do an SEO report and tell me if the SEO report picks up the H1 tag

Look for these tags in your html. <body></body> If your <h1> is not between those two tags it will not show up in any SEO report. Bing will not even index a site without <h1> but it has to be placed in the right location in the HTML.

Oh okay, thank you! Actually I wasn't using the banner and just turned it back on. Glad to know this is where the H1 tag is!

my main banner text is an H1 tag and all that text that you see below it, SEO says it's not there. What do I need to do to make sure my text shows up as content in an SEO report. And don't tell me to get an SEO expert because SEO expert has no direct access to the HTML to make necessary changes

You will never get H1 tags to show in an SEO reports and neither will bing ever recognize it or any body content, until square online gives us direct access to our HTML. But good news is if done right your products instantly show in Google shopping free listings.
