Facebook shops shows all items, even sold out
I just added Sync of my square to Facebook shop. The issue is on my website I have around 400 items but on Facebook shops it shows around 2000. I believe it is showing all items ever. Even if sold out.
so how do I get Facebook to sync my inventory properly. I only want the items that are in stock to show on my Facebook

I've been struggling with this too. If I'm in the "Meta Business Suite" - then click "Commerce" on the left side, under "Catalog" and then "Items" I see you can filter items by "Availability". But that's as far as I have been able to figure out. Unless you're doing that manually and frequently, I haven't found a way to make it auto-sync only in stock items.

unfortunately i have 2k items that have synced and only have 400 active items, so sorting through that and manually changing is not doable. I talked to square and they say i need to talk to FB, which is not true. Square sends the data to fb, it is sending the wrong data.

Yeah, I think the flip side to this coin is the people out there who may want ALL items to show in their shop (regardless of stock), maybe because their stock changes so frequently. Or they just want people to see the kinds of things they have. So I bet Square send it all and then Facebook should give us the power to choose what to display. I'll keep my eyes open for that option and post here if I ever find it. I'm very much in your boat - thousands of items and no desire to do it manually every day!

Other platforms just send over the inventory that is in stock. I’m actually going to switch over to another platform if this can’t get resolved as soon as possible or at least a solution that is usable. This is a big deal to me

If I had the XML file, I could then edit it so Facebook will have the appropriate contact. But as of right now I have no way of getting that XML file. Do you?

I don't - as far as I know, it's all automated.
