Delivery Only - confusing checkout experience
My store is doing delivery only, and yet during checkout it says "Change" next to Delivery, as if they had the option to change the fulfillment option. It's not technically clickable, but it's confusing nonetheless. Furthermore, when I go to enter my address, it says "Enter delivery address to change fulfillment method" but I'm not actually changing it, I'm merely entering my address in order to move forward in checkout. (Nor could I actually change the fulfillment method, since it's delivery only AND it's been delivery all along thus far in the checkout process!)
Anyone have a workaround for this? Super confusing on the customer end!

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.
I had a Square Online specialist take a look at your site. It appears that you have both pickup & delivery set up for the location. Even though you have delivery available only for certain items, as long as pickup & delivery are enabled for that location, that checkout process will continue to appear that way.
Perhaps one of our wonderful super sellers, @pessosices has a workaround? Or input?

Yea, I would recommend turning off Pickup as an option from Fulfillment and that should do it

If you go into your Square Dashboard, then your Online Store Dashboard, click on Settings, then Pickup & Delivery, do you have only Delivery turned on?

Yes, I've already done that and can confirm we're only set up for delivery. I honestly think it should say Delivery Only (no change button) in the cart and then when you're on the Edit delivery address page, the message "Enter delivery address to change fulfillment method" shouldn't be there, because you're not actually entering your address to change fulfillment method, you're entering to move forward with the order.
I just think the word choices are confusing!

Hmm, that is strange.
I would also think that the Change button wouldn't appear if you only had 1 fulfillment method, but I just checked on my store where I only have Pickup, and a Change button also shows up for me.
Although it could be because I also have Shipping enabled for certain items.
Do you have Shipping or Pickup enabled only for certain items (accidentally or on purpose)?
You would have to check each item individually in the Items tab in the Square Online Store Dashboard to see.
I definitely agree that it would be great if the Change button did not show up if you only have 1 fulfillment method enabled for the particular items that are in your cart.
This would be a great feature request!

@pessosices @isabelle shipping isn't an option, so I don't think that's the reason why it's showing up. Agree it's a good feature request to not have the customer be able to "change" the fulfillment method if there is only one.

You can now select a default fulfillment method for customers by going to Settings > Checkout > Advanced:
