Changing Item Numbers/URLs

Hey, I've got a bit of a weird one here.  We've been tweaking our online store over the past year, trying to minimize problems around limited-release items.  The solution that we'd landed on up until today was to keep items "hidden" and link to the pages directly from our main website so that we could control whether or not the item was accessible immediately (i.e. without the lag from the online store updating).

Now the problem: Square online/Weebly automatically assigns item numbers at creation, and the product page URLs are formatted "websiteurl/product/text/item#" where the "text" could be literally anything without changing the functionality of the page.  This means that for items we create one-after-the-other, users can find the next item by incrementing the item number, neutering our efforts to control release windows.

Short of creating a bunch of garbage items in between controlled-release items, is there any way of preventing this?  It would be nice to have static URL-controlled product pages so that we could insert random or defined text in the "text" part of the URL and prevent that kind of indexing attack.

I checked with our Square Online Team, they confirmed there isn't a way to prevent this, I'm afraid. @FBCSeattle
