I have several categories of merchandise and several pick up location options. When I click the local pick up option in my item it automatically allows the person to choose any of my pick up locations. Is there a way to specify which categories can be picked up from which location? Some items are not available at all locations.

Have you tried assigning items to specific locations?
Square Dashboard > Items & Orders > Items > Item library > Create Item or click an existing item
Locations dropdown menu > toggle the relevant locations and Save
On the live Shop All page, items can be sorted by location in the How to get it section.
The location-specific items could be assigned to Categories as needed.

@mettametta, thank you for your patience while we got more insight from our ECOM team.
For Pickup and Delivery, you can set location-specific items by adjusting the location availability in your Square Dashboard.
To do this, simply go to:
Dashboard > Items > Item Library > Edit any item.
If an item is only available at one location, it will only show up on your live site when that location is selected. If you need the same item at multiple locations, you'll need to duplicate the item and give each version a unique name.
Once set, your live site will reflect the location assignments for Pickup & Delivery accurately.

Thank you for the screenshots, it made me feel less crazy, because that option does not exist for me. I don't know how to make items unavailable at specific locations and it is driving me crazy. We're a restaurant and we're doing a limited menu for a pop up, but the online site still shows the entire menu. Any advice? Thanks!
