Can I add pictures for services

So I added square online, thininking that now I would have pictures to go with my service??? However the pictures are not coming up on the customer end.  I there any remedy to this?

Thank you for providing you're booking site, so we can help you get to the bottom of this. 

Did you want the pictures under your services or do you prefer them under your variants? 

Another thing you can try is turning off your booking site and then back on. 

If that doesn't do the trick - I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Success Team, so they can take a deeper dive.

Great Question.

Square Online allows you to add photos on services. 

 

Here are the steps for adding photos to services:

  • Login to Square Online Dashboard.
  • Visit the item section on the left.
  • Click on Site Items.
  • Create new item.
  • Change Item type to Service.
  • On the right add service.
  • Add a featured items section to your Square Online site.
  • Add service item.
  • Publish.
  •

Wish I had researched this first.  I just spent two hours uploading the perfect picture for each of my services, and it doesn't even show up for my customers on the booking page.  What a waste of time 😞

Totally understand the frustration you have with images and your Online Booking Site. Since this is a feature request for our Appointments Product Team, I would recommend taking this over to our Ideate Board

 

On that board, you can post Feature Requests for our Product Team to see. Once more information becomes available, one of the Community Moderators will change the status on your post to keep you in the loop.

If I now have to pay for appointments to work with google calendar, I should be able to add a %$@%$ picture for each service!! It's been on this stupid idea board since 2016.

You should be able to add an image for a service, but perhaps I'm not understanding your request. Do you have an online booking site, and is this where you want the images to display? Can you post a link to your site so we can take a look? 

 

If you are referring to something else, please let me know as well so we can give you the most up-to-date information.

I did confirm with the team that this is not an available feature yet. 😕 I can try to check in with the team to see if this is something that is on the upcoming roadmap. It does seem a bit strange that you can add the image on Square's end, but not have the ability to display that to the customer.

This is a feature we have been asking for since 2016. Can you please provide a date on when this will be added? We will be forced to move to a different booking site is this is not actually in the works. Pictures are a must for our needs.

I think I know why my images aren't showing up. Instead of uploading images for my services, I added images to my variants to show the length of the nails, but it's not showing up on my booking website. I'm not sure if showing variant images is an option for the free version of Square. If it is please let me know!

Hi all! I've been researching this for hours and still haven't figured it out. I am trying to add photos to my Services on my FLOW booking link, not the online booking link.  I don't use the Square website, I use Wix, and direct my clients to my Square flow booking link: https://book.squareup.com/appointments/6itodyrtkmowdr/location/LY6KZW8ZWJ5Q9

 

The service pictures do NOT show on my flow link, HOWEVER, they show on the online booking page, which I do not use.  Somebody help 😫 honestly, if there was an option to add paragraph breaks, and formating for the description of services, or even an html option, I wouldn't have a need to add a picture (photos show a more professional, easier to read description) yet I can't show the picture either! Is this an option, and I'm just not seeing it, or is this another oversight? Thanks!
