Business Location Shows on Square Online Appointments Page

I have toggled "Phone Only" in the Where do you accept appointments? section of my Appointments > Settings > Calendar & Booking > Appointment Preferences

My business location address is dynamically inserted on my Square Online Appointments page.

Is there a way to hide my business address on my Square Online Appointments page?

I definitely understand your point regarding the address @taylorandjones. At this time hiding this address isn't possible as you may have seen from the workarounds I have suggested. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request. 

Important: When submitting a request, include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

Now regarding the "See More" button appearing, have you tried reducing the amount of text and checking if the button disappears? It seems that you are on the threshold of it being needed to make the additional text visible.

The address displayed on your Online Booking page can be updated to just the state and country from the Settings > General page within Square Online. An address is currently required but the suggestion I give you is the closest you can come to hide your address.

Thank you very much for your reply and help. Following your steps, I worked through some more steps and observed the following:

1. Square Online > Settings > General > Store Information

• Street address is required.
• Updating this address will impact the business information that's inserted on online customer receipts.
• Updating this information does not change the address that's dynamically placed on the Appointments booking page.

2. I moved over to my Square account > Settings > Account & Settings > Business Information > Locations

• Street address is required.
• Changing the location address (assigned to Appointments) does update the address that's dynamically placed on the Appointments booking page.
• I tested a second "mobile" location but this also requires a street address.

If you have other ideas or workarounds that could remove/hide the address from the Appointments booking page I'm game to give this another try.

@taylorandjones  On the link I provided, try using "Located on" as the street address. Once you do that you will see a red pop-up telling you "The address you entered cannot be validated. Please ensure it is an accurate address." you can click Use it anyway, and it will only display "Located On, Your City and State here.

Thanks for your continued direction @JJ_ and for the tip about overriding the address validation.

Notes:

I replaced the street address with "Located On" per your note, in Square Online > Settings > General.

The Appointments Booking page did not reflect the new address.

Also, the street address is desirable for Online Store customer receipts and communications for physical product purchases.

It looks like the address on the Appointments Booking page is being pulled from my Square account > Settings > Account & Settings > Business Information > Locations

I noticed another odd behavior on the Appointments Booking page:

In the business profile section, a "See more" text link appears that leads to no where since my profile text is already displayed in its entirety. I tested this with additional text that extended beyond the container, in this case the "See more" text link appears and functions properly.

I'm pursuing these tweaks to optimize the user experience on the Appointments Booking page.

Removing the physical address on the page layout would reinforce phone/virtual-only meeting services.

The unneeded "See more" link attracts attention without providing value.

Any other thoughts or ideas about remedying these items?

I will submit a feature request for the physical address on Appointments Booking page.

I've removed a sentence from my business bio text and see the same unneeded "See more" on the Appointments booking page. Screenshot is attached.

Wanted to give you an update @taylorandjones. I have escalated this to our Advanced Support team for them to look into the See More button behavior. They will be keeping in touch with you via email with any updates or additional questions or steps to troubleshoot this situation.

I'm revisiting this physical location on the Square Online Appointments page situation …

I submitted a feature request in January 2023

A few weeks later, I happily noticed that a Location Banner content area was released with the option to toggle/un-toggle physical address. This resolved the issue!

In September, a seller reported that the Location Banner content area was gone and they could not hide their physical address on the Appointments page. 

I've checked this on my Appointments page and experienced the same behavior – my physical address is visible even though Appointments is set to "Phone Only". I'm not comfortable with my physical location visible on the Appointments Booking page:

I've attached screenshots that show the new Location Banner content area as it existed in January 2023.

Any insight into when the Location Banner content area with the option to toggle/un-toggle physical address might be restored?

This is an interesting report @taylorandjones. Have you mentioned this to our Support Team? They might be tracking Seller reports or feedback on this change. For this reason, I recommend you reach out directly and inquire about this.
