Automated welcome email after signing up for email list

Automated welcome email after signing up for email list

I would like to see the option to set up an automated email that gets triggered whenever a website visitor subscribes to my email list. Currently you only have the option for a welcome email for people who make their first purchase.

I want to be able to set up an automated welcome email to those who sign up to my email list as well.

Thanks!

It is not. It only gives the option to do an”welcome” email after someone makes a purchase, but not when they sign up for email notifications.

@tblh  I'm not too sure because I'm not enrolled in it, but I think this might be available for those paying for the optional Square Marketing features. I could be wrong though and someone who pays for that might have to chime in and verify the validity of my claims.

Hi there, @tblh,

You are correct that at this time, only new customer welcome emails are sent after they make a purchase. Although this feature isn’t currently available with Square, it’s a great idea and I can see how it would be beneficial to your business.

I’ve shared your feature request with our Product Team, as they are constantly improving our products based on feedback like this. In the meantime, keep an eye out for any updates in our Seller Community. We appreciate your input! 🙂

  • I too am looking for this option to send an email to new subscribers with an attached download. Has this feature been added. It would be the only reason for me to upgrade. Thanks!

Automated campaigns in response to any form submission should be an easy to add feature and it would be very helpful.

I was shocked when I found out this wasn't a feature. It seems like this is such a staple piece for newsletters!
