Trouble with categories doubling when importing excel sheet

Importing categories using import library from an excel sheet causes categories to become doubled. I end up with two of the same name category and I dont know how to fix this.  I cut and paste the EXACT category and description from square to excel but after importing, two of the same category will appear.

For this one, since I could not find other reports of this behavior, I will recommend reaching out to our phone support team as they can look at the file you are trying to import to point you in the right direction.
