I saw a thread on hear about Square Marketing is meant to be coming to the UK. Does anyone know when this is likey to happen.
Also if i had anothe email provider for my business, is there a way to integrate it into Square like you can do with Shopify? or can I only use the current System in place?
what i mean by this could I integrate Mail Chimp into my online site?
Many Thanks

Square marketing was supposedly due last month from what I heard so unsure about that one but should be soon (however only collects data from POS orders, I think)
mailchimp have an app on the square app marketplace that you can link… but the login page doesn’t actually work or atleast hasn’t whenever I’ve tried it, what you can do though is install a form provided by mailchimp to collect emails for their service, you can then customise it in a very basic format using <style></style> CSS code, if this is something that you may struggle to pick up on, w3schools.com have some basic CSS form code that is free to copy/use : )

Thank you for your reply.
I have managed to connect mail chimp to my square account.
However there is a problem that says i need to add a code to my square website.
However, this is no explanation of how to do this. Considering i know nothing about HTML code and have been frustrated by the fact that i cannot work out how to get access to the HTML code of my website.
The information on how to do this is extremely bad.
I dont need to create code, i already have it, i just need to add it to my website.
Thanks

Welcome to the Seller Community @CoraliesCrafts1!
While I don't have a timeline on when Square Marketing is available generally in the UK, I would encourage you to check out our Beta Community to join and potentially get access to new features first when we test them out.

Hi @SR_, thanks for expressing your interest!
We are still working on bringing Square Marketing to the UK but we don't have an ETA that we can communicate regarding when it will be implemented.
We will definitely need sellers to test before the official launch, please keep an eye on our Beta Programme.

I have created several draft marketing emails, I go through the process, create, add recipients, subject line and select the address the email is received from.
I get to the final stage review and send, no send or schedule button appears.
I have confirmed the email address and tried different ones, but no change.
Can anyone help?
Thank you

Hi @charlotteford, welcome to the Seller Community!
Sorry to hear you're running into this and thanks for letting us know.
Can you please run through these steps in order, I know you may have already done but sometimes a step can be unintentionally missed. One other thing to double-check with your Customer Directory is that the email addresses you are choosing for the campaign are listed as Subscribed rather than Nonsubscribed.
- Go to Customers > Marketing in your online Square Dashboard.
- Click Create Campaign and select Email campaign.
- Under ‘Choose a campaign’, select your campaign objective. If you’re sending an email, you can choose a one-time blast campaign or set up an ongoing automated campaign.
- Under the campaign objectives, you can also choose to target your best customers with different smart groups. These are recommended customer groups, such as top spenders, frequent visitors, active customers and loyal subscribers.
- If your business has multiple locations, you can select a specific location. This will determine which address displays at the bottom of your emails and limit where the voucher can be redeemed. Note: If you want your voucher to be redeemable at all locations, leave the default All Locations selection.
- Select an existing template from the theme library, or use the default template to customise your email to your marketing goal. Note: If you’re including a voucher, be sure to include an offer amount and expiry date. Vouchers can be redeemed in-store or via Square Online.
- Customise your Square Marketing template. Choose your default campaign colours, layout, global styles, font size, button size, email header styles and more. You can also add images, new text fields and Items from your library, and order these blocks of content so the email layout looks how you want. With Square Marketing you have access to a searchable image gallery with over 850,000 free stock photos.
- Select your recipients. Choose all customers or a custom set of customers. If you chose a smart group when selecting your campaign objective, you can adjust the group recipients by clicking Modify. Learn more about your customer directory and smart groups.
- Review your campaign then click Schedule or Send Now.
If after doing so, you still don't have either option, please send a screenshot here, thanks!
