I am switching over from MailChimp to Square Marketing.
Can I import my subscribers from Mailchimp and will those that are duplicated be easy to delete?
Thanks
René

Hi @GourmetOnWheels. Good to see you, again.
Yes, you can do all of that. I did it years ago. First, go to your customer directory and click the Import Customers button. That gives you the option to download a template. Then go into MailChimp and export your current list there. You’ll need to use a spreadsheet and formulas to create an upload list in the format that Square’s template requires. Export that as a CSV file and import it into your Square customer directory.
After you do that, Square’s algorithm should give you suggestions for which entries it thinks are duplicates. You can review those, merge them, ignore them, etc. You’ll see something like the message at the top of my directory, currently.
Let me know if you need anything else. And, if you need help converting your MailChimp export to an import file for Square, let me know. I can help you get something set up pretty quickly via email.
Good luck!
