Hi there! I know I can use the embed form for email list signups and I've put this code on my external site.
I had assumed that, once someone submits that form, it would show a message that the visitor had signed up. (And that the email would show up on my email list)
However, it doesn't do this... it does NOT submit the entry, but upon submission, forwards the visitor to the square site instead. Am I missing something? Is it a setting I need to turn on/off?
All help & direction appreciated!

Hi @Bakehouse24 ,
That is the intended behavior with the embed code that square provides.
However you can use the API so that it submits from your website and sends you a notification. Depending on what kind of website platform you have and also what kind of email marketing platform you use.
For example we have a WordPress website and we use Square for email marketing, and we use Contact Form 7 along with a set of API calls so that when people fill out the subscribe form on our website, it sends the information through the API to Square and then keeps them on our website and presents them with a thank you for subscribing page, that we design, along with a notification that comes to me every time someone subscribes.
What platform is your website and what do you use for email marketing?
