Point Redemption on Invoice

Now that customers can acquire points on invoice, logical next step would allow redemption against invoices. For example, customer would like to use their discount on an invoice- we have no way to show redemption on the invoice. We need to use an alternative code and then manually go into their loyalty account to remove their points. When we adjust their account, there is no option other than accidental earn, suspicious activity or refund... so it would be nice if there was a 4th option for manual redemption.

Good new @DinaLRosenberg This is already in the works and we'll have reward redemption available on Invoices before we wrap up beta.

We're a small family business and a lot of our orders come in through email and phone (our customers are old school) - we also host our website through Square. The loyalty program has been a real hit for us. Not a lot of people want to save their credit cards on file, but having to manually change or issue a refund for customers to use their loyalty points when the virtual terminal or invoicing is used is kind of a pain.

It would be super helpful to have this feature.

I moved this post over to our Ideate Board to track this as a feature request. I can definitely see how cumbersome it would be to make these adjustments manually. It's great to hear that your customers are loving the Loyalty Programme, though! 

 

We'll continue to track this suggestion via this thread, hopefully some other sellers can add their voice to this suggestion, too 🙂

Thank you!!!! I have a large customer base that gets their orders through invoicing and they worked hard to spend that dough to get their loyalty points and can't even redeem them on their invoices. I have to manually go into their account and select "Points Accidentally Rewarded" to manually apply their reward discount. It's time consuming and it also removes those gems forever so the customer can't even see their total gems of all time. That part is the most exciting! I love to see how much damage I've done at a shop I love.
