Hello, I used to be able to check the status of my next loan eligibility on my dashboard. It had a list of criteria that said either "good" or "needs work". When I click on this now it doesn't show that info anymore. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks

I would like an email as well. I’m not seeing any information either as far as “needs work”, just a generic statement that my business isn't eligible. I used to be able to track but not anymore

I am trying to find a list of business “types” that are not eligible for the square loan program. I am a home services garage door company and told my business type is not eligible. I switched to square after advice from a friend with an HVAC company who uses your square loans programs several times over the years. Would like explanation please

Hi @KGD1,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
There’s no additional information we can share at this time, and we can’t go into further specifics about program requirements because the criteria we use is proprietary.
We will continue to review your account daily for loan eligibility. If you become eligible, you’ll be notified directly on your Square Dashboard and through email.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

Have you received an offer since you posted this last year? You should be eligible. I’m a residential painter and am currently on my 4th loan since I’ve been with square. I started using square in October of 2022 so a little over a year and a half. Im patiently waiting for my 5th offer sitting at around 77% paid back of my current loan. My loan offers came at 100%, 80% and then this one came when I was only 66% paid off of my third loan. And each loan has increased. Started at $2500 then $7500…$8200 and my current one is $14,700 which I’m 77%. But we are both home renovation companies so you should be eligible like I have been.

Ive been with square 7 years, Had 13 loans all paid early. Im at 90% on my current loan and no offer yet. Ive called square and they assured me that my report card is all good. As I run a seasonal business and have a big event next week that Ive always counted on my square loan for Im very disappointed it. Looks like Im gonna have to switch processing to a new company that believes in team work.. Geez very sad

Yes, and no. They got back to me and said due to my current account activity I was not eligible. I’m not sure what that means at all. Super vague and when I asked for clarification there was none given.
Not sure but it seems I’m clearly not the one boy one having this happen.

I am also having this issue, I checked on Sunday and it was still showing all the progress points like always and now I get the generic message as well? This is our 6th loan and it’s paid to 81% and all the statuses were good last time I checked on Sunday. What is going on??

That is how mine used to be now I get a white screen that just says your business is ineligible for the square loans program at this time.

That is weird since I just Logged in and went through these steps to see my status. I figure online should all be the same when using a computer. I can understand slight differences when using different hardware, Ipad, Register etc but not through a Computer. What Browser are you using for the Internet on your Computer? Square recommends Chrome, which is what I use and just guessing if that could be a problem? The other thing you could try is to clear your Browsers Internet Cache. Sometimes when I make changes to my Website, I can not see the change on my computer until I clear the Internet Cache.
Other than these few ideas I am at a loss why your seeing something different then I see when I go through these steps.

I have tried the computer, the phone, different browsers etc. also I reached out to customer service and got a very vague message back about due to my current account activity it was just ineligible at this time. I am on another thread with others that this is happening to as well. Same situation, all factors good one day then boom weird ineligible screen seemingly out of nowhere. For reference I am on my 10th loan, 83% paid back way ahead of schedule. I have always paid ahead of schedule and during our slow season sometimes the factors would show needs work with processing frequency but would go back to good status relatively quickly. Not really sure what’s going on and customer service doesn’t offer much info.
