Scéal Bakery: How the Micro Bakery Uses Square’s Omnichannel Tools to Grow

Every business has its story and Scéal, the Irish word for story, is the name that founders Charlotte and Shane chose because the story of the bakery is ultimately their story too.

The Square social team caught up with Charlotte and Shane to learn how  they mixed years of culinary experience with a passion for baking to give Dublin the neighbourhood bakery it never had. We also hear how they are taking advantage of Square’s omnichannel tools, from online ordering to in-person payments.

The Scéal Instagram is full of pictures of mouth watering treats that are served up to customers who visit the Fumbally Stables, Dublin 8. The bakery is open every Thursday from 10am to 1pm, and every Saturday from 10am to 1.30pm.
