"Classic View" vs "Touch View" - Recent Update Ruined Invoices

THE PROBLEM: = = = = =
I logged into Square Invoices Web Interface this week with immediate disappointment.  The interface has once again inflated with unnecessary spacing, padding, and additional scrolling and clicks to achieve what used to be cleanly listed right in front of you.

My business is nearly 100% invoices, so this is a massive negative change for us.
Typing invoices used to take me only a couple minutes, now it's taking me several minutes.  Immediately upon creating a new invoice, we now have to *click* to add a customer, when before you could just start typing, for instance.  The extra scrolling is rough on my wrist and overall wastes time.

Further adding, previous versions of the Invoice GUI allowed in-line editing of service fees, discounts or items.  You now have to *click* and wait for the Model Popup to make the same edits..


PROPOSED SOLUTION: = = = = =

I propose a TOGGLE, at the very LEAST that will keep both parties happy.  This should follow through all square services, but especially invoices for now.

The toggle would essentially switch between a blown up, over-padded interface for touch screens, and the other "Classic View" should have everything be usable and visible with as little scrolling, or additional touches or taps as necessary.

In "Classic Mode", in-line editing should be seamless, as it once was.  Toggling how an invoice can get paid should be compressed and easy to see.  Invoices should NOT be condensed to the very center of the page.  Use the full page, please!!

In "Touch Mode", I can understand the inflated, over-padded interface because fingers and all.  Still, adding unnecessary clicks and scrolls might clean the interface in front of the user, but in the long, it is adding stress, time and discomfort to the overall experience, which is absolutely NOT worth having a "cleaner" interface.
