Locate "Add Payment Schedule" button in Square Invoices update

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: "Add Payment Schedule" button missing in invoices?] 

 

I typically take a 50% deposit with 50% due at a later date. Today when I went to send an invoice, the "Add Payment Schedule" is completely missing from invoices for me. ACH is not checked as an option. There is no late fee. (I know these things can remove the schedule option). I have tried the new and old invoice layout. Am I missing something? Was this feature removed? Thanks for any and all assistance!

Square Invoices recently has had a layout update. The "Schedule" section is now listed on the top right side of your New Invoice. 

 

You currently have the option of using the old layout while getting used to the new layout, but the new invoice experience will fully transition in early 2025 and reverting to the old layout will no longer be available after this time.

 

Feel free to take a look at this Support Center article with more information on the new layout.

Invoices seem to be getting an overhaul, and features are being slowly added back in. I think you could try the "Reoccuring Invoice", which would work as a two part invoice. My recent conundrum was with taxes being applied on items shipped out of state on Invoices, but not if the customer purchased item directly from the website.
