Hello and thank you in advance for your help.
Our non-profit offers memberships and uses Square as our payment processor. Following this page (https://www.jotform.com/square/recurring-payments/) we are attempting to set up subscription payments where individuals select a membership type and their card is automatically charged at the frequency they select.
We have been successful setting up the subscription and when the form is completed, the first charge is taken automatically. However, the recurring charge does not appear to be automatic. Users are receiving an "invoice" from Squre, requiring them to go back and re-enter their card information. I have read online that if they have a card on file, the payment should be automatic.
We would like users who sign up for an automatic subscription to be charged automatically instead of being sent an invoice.
I have attached screenshots. Please let me know if there is anything that I am missing.

Hey there @1885. Sorry for the delay in posting a response. So, here’s the problem. Using JotForm to process Square Payments will never save a card on file unless JotForm gives you that feature. That would require JotForm to allow the customer to specify that the card should be saved, and then for them to tell Square to do so. I doubt very much that JotForm has this capability. If they do, however, it is a subject that only they will be able to answer. All third-party app developers are required to set up the connection between them and Square, and to maintain that. Square ONLY does what JotForm tells them to do, and Square provides the APIs necessary for JotForm to tell them what to do.
That’s my long-winded way of saying that this is a question you must take up with JotForm support directly.
(PS — there are not screen shots in your post)
If my answer resolves your issue, please take a minute to mark it as Best Answer. That helps people who find this thread in the future.
