One of the original threads I commented on was from 2018, I commented in February of 2023. Now that thread has been locked and archived. Why is this still an issue Square? Whitelisting looks unprofessional and is just a band aid. Sending a link to the invoice defeats the purpose of the system to begin with. It's almost 2024 and we are still having this problem, why? Please get the development/engineering team on this asap as this is a deal breaker in my opinion.
It could be your email host that is causing the invoices to get blocked or go to spam. Have you checked your sending email to make sure it has DKIM/SPF signatures are valid. I have validated our signature and haven’t had any problems with sending invoices. I use a custom domain. You can check your email DKIM/SPF at the link below. If you need to setup validation you can google your email host and how to enter the values, it may be different for each hosting company.

Nearly July 2024 now. YEARS later and Square still hasn't fixed this??? Unbelievable. I can almost guarantee that the lack of SPF / DKIM / DMARC on the domain used to send the invoices hasn't been setup or is busted. You would think they could sort that out, especially since they are Weebly adjacent. Granted, ProtonMail provided all of the info I needed, but I entered all of the DNS info in like 5 minutes when I linked my domain to their MX servers. It isn't rocket science and if Square's Dev team can't sort it out, it's time they look for work in another field.
