How do I apply taxes and shipping to my invoices?

I've really been trying to learn how to do invoices on my own and struggling with it a little bit. Is there any way that I could possibly add taxes and shipping rates to customer invoices? If so, can you send me some step by step how to instructions please? TYIA

Hi @TayTay1 

To start you will want to make sure that you have taxes set up already for your items.  You can follow this guide here if you don't have taxes set up in your account yet, and you can apply that tax to all or specific items. 

Adding shipping to an invoice, will have to be done manually.  You can use something like Pirate ship to get discounted rates on shipping cost. 

You will want to create a new item. 

From Dashboard > Items > Create an Item (top right)

Fill in Item Details (name, category, uncheck taxes, etc.) 

Be sure to set it as "per item" and leave the price blank and save.

Now when you are creating your invoice, simply be sure to add your new "shipping item" as a line item and input the correct shipping amount for that order.
