Do you always add an attachment to your invoice?
Why or why not?

I have the attachments added on 4 different service templates. Each attachment is an aftercare and what to expect card I created for each service. I chose to do this to save myself a little bit of money on buying physical ones from Vistaprint where I feel people just look at it once and then toss it out.

I didn't even realize this was an option until now. Neat idea.

What would you attach?
Our discussions and contracts are done separately, the invoices we send are basically self-explanatory, I think!

As a new small business owner, I’ve been learning so much about how to provide value to my customers and make sure they feel confident about their orders. Here's a little peek behind the scenes of my process that I hope can also inspire others in the community working on their businesses!
I specialize in personalizing tumblers, and one thing I always make sure to do is create an estimate and a proof of what the tumbler will look like before engraving. Why? Because it's not just about selling a product—it's about making sure my customers feel 100% comfortable and happy with their design before we go forward.
This step is a game-changer! It:
✅ Helps customers visualize the final product.
✅ Allows for any adjustments or tweaks before the work is done.
✅ Prevents any miscommunication or disappointment later.
For me, this isn’t just about doing a job—it's about building trust and making sure my customers know I’ve got their back. It’s the same kind of care and attention I’d want if I were on the other side of the counter.
To my fellow small business owners, finding ways to give your customers confidence in your work goes a long way. And to my community, if you’re looking for a custom tumbler or know someone who is, I’d love the chance to show you how we can make something special together. 😊
Let me know your thoughts—how do YOU go the extra mile in your work? Let’s share tips and grow together!
