Why can’t I re-send a contract or mark it completed manually?

I think it would be great if we could resend contracts that someone might’ve deleted accidentally. Also, we should be able to mark a contract as completed in case they had to do it physically in person and we have an actual paper copy so that it doesn’t keep sending them an email to complete one every time they book. we should also be able to in person allow them to complete the contract on our iPad in office if it’s easier for them versus them trying to find the email on their phone and do it from a web browser on their device. There should be a lot more flexibility  For this

Hey @HandsomeMuscle.  Everything you are asking for here seems to be a request for a feature that doesn’t exist in Square Contracts.  As such, you will get the ball rolling much faster if you head over to the Square Ideate Board and submit formal feature requests.

 

Before you do that, though, I’m going to take a Square Admin here. @_Violet 

 

I am tagging them because I reviewed the feature request boards and there is none that indicates that it would be where requests to the Contracts engineering team goes, so I don’t know which board you should submit your requests to.  Wait for @_Violet (or another Square admin) to reply with the name of the correct board.

 

Also, when you submit these requests, be sure to read the submission rules, especially the one that says you must submit one and only one idea per request.  If you lump them all together they will be rejected.

Thank you for the ping @TheRealChipA, and I appreciate your great response here. The correct board for this one will be Square Invoices as they are the same team that handles Square Contracts @HandsomeMuscle

Thanks, @JJ_.  Is it possible to update the Ideate Board to reflect that?  Also, I think some other clarifications need to be made there.  For example, I have no clue where feature requests for Items, Modifiers, Discounts (ie - the Item Catalog) would go.  And I know there are others.  Also, is “Square Directory” the board for all things customer-directory, or is that something else?

 

Anyway, you can probably see that IMHO this landing page needs some tidying up.

Here to help! So for items, modifiers and discounts you will want to make sure of the environment you would want them to exist in. If you would like to add a feature to how Square Online items behave then Square Online would be the right place. If it's something related to the Dashboard then that exists under Square Point of Sale. I will pass your feedback over to the team for their consideration.
