I'm running a hair salon and have dedicated colorists and stylists with support staff
We book on the 15mins
A color appointment should be 60mins total duration with initial duration of 30mins for color application followed by 30mins of processing time. Square mandates I also set a final duration of minimum 5mins which I don't need and prevents me from enabling double booking. That additional 5mins effectively allocates the staff again and prevents them from taking any other bookings during those 5mins.
I've tried adjusting initial duration and processing time without success. I'm apprehensive to change the booking interval because the schedule becomes too chaotic
Please square enable zero minutes on final duration
Any suggestions on workarounds?

A question here to clarify.
After the processing time, are your colorists not spending any additional time with the client?
For example, most hair salons will have the same team member rinse, apply treatment or style the client after the processing time.
I am guessing here, but is your support staff finishing the service after the color is processed?

You are correct in your assumptions. The support staff are finishing the service after the color is processed. We would welcome any recommendations/ work arounds.
