My Mobile Booking Site, when customers click on Make Appointment, This is what they see? Why?

Mobile Booking Site Not Showing Correctly? 

When you click on the above, this is what my customer sees? I suspect it has to do with privacy and cookie settings? Can I rename these boxes, Can I make a change where instead of showing this it shows "Book Appointment" Looks like it is scaring people away???

You’re welcome.  You can test this if you want by clearing your browser’s history and cookies.  Then bring up your site and see if you get that accept/reject message.  Let me know if it doesn’t work, and if it doesn’t also post a screen shot of your Cookie Consent settings screen. 🤞

Hi @PJ3187.  I followed the link to your site.  Screen shot below.  As you can see in the red circle, your “Book Appointment” button IS shown.  Otherwise, I’m not sure what you are referring to about “this is what my customer sees?”  What in this screen shot is something you do not want your customer to see and/or is scaring them away?

Hello and Thank you for any help!!!

 

The issue is what is displayed when a customer selects "Book Appointment". Instead of saying book now at the bottom of the appointment, it says reject or accept. When customers see this they are exiting. It should say "Book Appointment" Which takes them to a scheduling screen? I suspect it is asking them to accept cookies, but it is not clear to them?

So, when I go through the booking steps on your site I don’t see that message.  But that’s probably because I’ve already accepted Square cookies in my browser so I won’t see that message anymore.  Naturally, once a customer clicks accept then they will not see it anymore either.  But…

 

I suspect that you have set up Cookie Consent on your website.  To verify this, go to your online dashboard > Website > Site Preferences.  Scroll down to the Cookie Consent section.  If it doesn’t look like my screen shot below, then you probably have your site set to get explicit cookie consent from your site visitors.  You can change and/or disable this here.

 

If that’s not the issue and you don’t find cookie consent banners enabled, come back here and let me know and we’ll try something else.
