Hello! I hope all is well. I had some transactions from last year that I never checked out so I went back and checked out the transactions I missed that sent me cash app/Apple Pay/ or paid cash. In the midst of doing so I did not realize the transactions were posted to this years sales. I could have cried real ugly tears when i realized this error I made. I honestly did not know I could not finish checkout after the fact it makes sense now but Iโm stressing. It looks as though Iโve made $100,000 plus in sales and I havenโt made anywhere near that this year. My question is what can I do to solve this issue? Iโve googled and asked other business owners opinions and no one has a solution. I know I messed up but I am humbly just in need of some adv since Square support basically told me Itโs my fault and there is nothing they can do. Thank you for any advice you have again I know itโs my fault Iโm not blaming square just threw a little shade. But Iโm so depressed I know it isnโt the end of the world but that is how Iโm feeling tearing up typing this. Penny for your thoughts.

We all make mistakes - unfortunately, you can't change your Square Transaction history - it's basically the way financial services world is setup as it prevents not so honest people from altering their books. What you need to do is get some assistance from an accountant and/or tax professional - they can help you. The community members here are volunteers - most of us are small business owners but, providing any type of legal advice here is out of the scope of this community. It will work out OK for you.
Thank you I originally didnโt know I was doing anything wrong because the services were completed I just never checked them fully out for receipt because most ppl sent via cash app or Apple Pay. But thank you for your advice I really appreciate it I didnโt have any advice at all before.
