How do you split tips on one appointment with multiple services and providers?

I am able to add multiple services with different service providers to a singular appointment. The services correctly appear on both providers' schedules. However, when the customer tips, Square is awarding the entire tip to the provider of the first service listed. How do you get it to split the tips proportionally?

 

Note: This is for a Dog Grooming Salon - they don't pool tips.

I've reached out to our Square Appointments team to see if this would be considered a feature request, or if there is a workaround I may just not be aware of to achieve what you're after here. I'll reach back out as soon as I hear back!

Make sure that each service provider is set up correctly with their base pay or commission.  We have noticed that whichever provider performs the service with the higher rate...they will get a bigger tip than those who perform with a lower rate.  If this is not helping please contact square's customer support so that they can pull your account and verify what may be the problem 🙂
