Disable checkout permissions in Appointments mobile app

I suspect I already know the answer to this, but we're wondering if it's possible to disable checkout in the Appointments app. We have a private driver business and our drivers currently take payment through their own square accounts and then send us a percentage of each ride fee. We would like customers to be able to book rides through our booking site, and then for us to assign rides to drivers and have them be able to track them on their calendar. We really just want to be sure they don't accidentally take payment through the Appointments app. Is this even possible? Or is there a way for staff to sync their own calendars with Google?

Unfortunately, there isn't currently a way to disable checkout permission via the Appointments app, nor are there settings to prevent employees from taking payments.
