The Appointment Calendar needs more functionality, not less. We already have to scroll through the day to find our appointments because our business doesn't open at 12AM. So there's this huge block of NOTHING that we have to continuously scroll through to get to the 15 - 20 appointments for the day.
Add to this, the way the Calendar screen layout is, there are TWO scroll panes, one for the Calendar and another for the menu on the left-hand side. This causes terrible issues when the Calendar hasn't loaded fully and you use the scroll wheel on your mouse. Instead of the Calendar scrolling past the aforementioned 12AM to 9AM hours, the entire screen would scroll causing the buttons at the top of the window to disappear and also half our appointments would be cutoff.
I have called and talked to Customer Support and they basically said, "there's no options to fix this, it's on the Development Side" and was unable to provide anyone to talk to or any other options but to post here for help. I posted several years ago and got nothing. I truly don't think they check these forums.
Anyways, recently they implemented the "Expand" feature. I was super excited because when you expand the Calendar, it removes the menu on the left-hand side, thus eliminating the additional scrolling window.
Now, just this week, they implemented the BETA Quick Find feature and added the disclaimer at the bottom of the Calendar, MAKING THE ENTIRE SCREEN SCROLL AGAIN!!! 🥴
I provided feedback for the BETA Quick Find feature and also included my issues with the scrolling and also being unable to delete Customer Notes.
Today I came into work and noticed that the Calendar window didn't scroll anymore....I was like, "wow, they listened to my feedback!" and fixed it....
BUT...guess what the fix was!? I laughed out loud when I saw it....THEY MADE THE VIEWING WINDOW OF THE CALENDAR/APPOINTMENTS SMALLER!!!!! Hahahahah
All just so we can see the Quick Find disclaimer at the bottom of the screen without making the window scroll. How stupid.
I called a few months ago to get a reduction in our fees based on the insane amount of revenue they make every year off of us and they were only able to reduce our "swipe" and "tap" fees by 5 cents / transaction. This will save us $1,280 this year, not hardly a drop in the bucket considering how little they offer help to fix issues with the platform. We would rather take the tax write off of the fees and have them fix all the complaints.
Anyways, maybe this frustrated post will garnish someone's response that can actually take the feedback and fix the issues.
