Allow a client to pay for multiple appointments in one transaction

Sometimes there are a party of four people, each with their own appointment. 

One person decides to pay for everyone. 

Rather than having to do four separate credit card transactions, it would be nice to be able to select all four appointments and charge the credit card once. 

Not only will this make checkout faster, it will also reduce people questioning why their credit card statement has four similar charges at the same business.

This is definitely needed for salon environments and I can see, as an active member of the Seller community, that Square has a lot of salon/tattoo studio/barbershop/etc owners.

Having to cancel appointments and create a new appointment for a "girls night out" is confusing for our clients and we often lose money if it is not done correctly. It's also confusing when we are determining which clients need deposits or should be declined based on history we use excessive "cancellations" as a metric.

These feature is available with competitor booking apps.

I +1 this.   Its good for family tickets.  Each person retains their account but mom and daughter can check out under moms card.

This would similarly be something needed for couples massage services where one appointment is needed for two people for the same duration (i.e. 1hour) but require two staff members to be assigned. Currently we have to either create two separate appointments for the same time with different staff members or create a single appointment with one staff member then block off the time as a personal event for the second staff member. Neither of these solutions is ideal and is difficult or impossible for the client to book online themselves.

Is there a way a client can pay for their service as well another service listed in square appointments?

for example: a mother wants to pay for her appointment as well as her daughters that is later or another day.

can we make this an option if it’s not already?

I have moved your post to our Ideate Board where another seller has brought this up as a Feature Request. Right now, this is not possible when checking out. You can only pay for one appointment at a time.

We have a spa and have several clients who come together, such as a couples massage. I schedule to the therapist, but have to check them out separately this is annoying to our clients. Is there a way to add to clients to one ticket?

@tly0717 There is no way we have found to combine two separate appointments like for a couples massage. We pick one of the two massage appointments to check out then add the other massage as another service, make sure you assign the correct staff, then check it out. It is not ideal, but at least we can process it as a single payment. It will show up in your appointments after as if the customer got the services one after the other so it will not look right.

@DragonMassage Thank you for the input. I will try this. Square needs to address this issue, it shouldn't be this hard.

@DragonMassage that's exactly what we do but unfortunately our clients per book through our Square booking site so when this happens the service is not listed at the right time and cause problems for both our techs in clients. We have even been double booked due to this issue and had to turn a client away after then have scheduled an appointment — this resulted in a bad review for our business. This issue is much bigger than being an inconvenience.
