I've been part of the group for a while, but I am finally introducing myself.
My husband and I own Seaside Stones LLC a rock business that specializes in cabochons (stones cut and polished, ready for jewelry making), jewelry that we make with our cabs, and cool rocks. We are dealers at gem and mineral shows from Maine (where we live) to Tucson (the home of the biggest gem and mineral show in the world). We also sell online, mostly via Facebook live shows, and have a seasonal retail store.
I've been reading the digests I get via email but haven't really engaged until now because we were on the road from early January through recently. We just did our 10th gem and mineral show of the year.
We use Square at all our shows, we invoice for online sales via Square, and use Square at our store. We've been using Square since 2014.
Cheers,
Theresa
Very nice @SeasideStones2! Your website has great products. I love the designs of rocks turned into jewelry.
Thank you @Harmony2c!

Hi guys!, Iโm Pankake and I started The Donut Button, LLC. It has been lots of fun and I just recently bought a 3D resin printer to do more than apparel. What do you guys think? Check out the Easter eggs or Donuts on the website ๐

Thank you so much.
Hey folks, Dave Carroll here, co-owner of Wolf Den Games, a Friendly Local Game Store in Abingdon, VA.
We sell Card, Board, Miniature, and Roleplaying games and accessories. We used a discount card processor with a free inventory system for most of the first 3 years of our business, but in August we made the switch and are not looking back. At around 6,000 variations, having a real inventory for the first time has been a revelation. (We'd never actually done a full count before.)
We also have never done any real online sales, but we may dabble our toe in.
I'm also a former IT developer, so I'm interested in providing feedback and feature requests -- very curious as to how much influence the seller community might have on things.
Hi Dave! Welcome to the group!
While we don't have as many variations as you do- we have quite a bit!!
Online sales is a great channel to add once you set it up. An inventory of 6000 is a TON to get online ๐

Dina:
Oh trust me we will do it a little at a time. One of the reasons the number is so intimidating is the cyclical nature of the Collectible Card Game business. Every month or two there's a whole new crop of SKUs with a new product, a bit like having new baseball teams for baseball cards four to six times a year, for each "sport". Of course after a while the hype dies down and we discontinue carrying old product, but the newness is what keeps customers coming back to that side of our business.
Hey Dave,
We do sports and trading cards. So same industry.
Square has really helped with inventory and online sales.
Make sure you get your square store synced with google, facebook and instagram. If you have that much inventory it should start selling from time to time on your website. Just make sure you pull it from the floor when it sells.
I just started doing preorders with Pokemon, Magic and a few other items and it helps get some items sold before they come in the door.
