I'm Alicia. I own a non-toxic nail salon, Peint, in tropical Houston TX. I've been in and around the nail industry for 30 years this month. I opened Peint to offer something a wee bit different in the nail space.  The salon turned 2 years old in January and now it's time to stretch outside my comfort zone.

I'm adding e-commerce and in-salon sales in Q1. This group will certainly be helpful as I grow.

HI! My Name is Kristin and my sister and I own Alchemical Sisters, a Metaphysical/Self Care shop in Pitman, NJ. We have a  brick and mortar as well as an online shop. alchemicalsisters.com We offer Candles, Crystals, Tea, Beauty Products, CBD, etc. We have been using square for retail since we opened our shop in April 2021. We are currently struggling with getting our Facebook/Instagram and TikTok shops connected to our site. If anyone has experience in doing this, we would love any suggestions you might have.

We had the same issue. I contacted the tech people at Square and they connected our site to our Instagram and Facebook.
They handled it quickly.

Hello! I am having a strange problem. on my website in woo commerce I show orders that have been placed, they have a square verification number but say they are pending, and the time the order was placed is listed as several hours in the future. When I go to my square dashboard it shows NO TRANSACTIONS for today. What is going on?

Hi.  I'm Eric Whitney, Chainmaille Artist and proprietor at Whitney Maille in Santa Barbara, CA area.  I have been selling my handcrafted chainmaille jewelry primarily at local craft shows and a local artist cooperative holiday pop-up.  Two years ago I expanded to online selling of chainmaille supplies to other makers, primarily Titanium jumprings and findings with a value added black finish I dubbed "Black Glass Titanium".  I've moved from the basic free Square Online site to a Square Weebly Performance Site for my eCommerce platform almost 2 years ago.  My primary online business is specialty chainmaille supplies to other makers around the world with only a few of my finished jewelry items listed online.  I primarily sell my finished work in-person at a local weekly show although do need to find the time to photograph items and get them listed on my website.

I routinely struggle with bugs in the Online portion of the dashboard and with bugs in the Site Item inventory management.  Because I have a broad mix of both Retail and Wholesale level customers online I really wish there was functionality to flag customers as Taxable and non-Taxable from a resale perspective.  I see a lot of attention put towards the brick and mortar platform for retail but the online functionality improvements seem to be few and far between from my perspective.  Currently the lack of "Customer Account Creation" and "Customer Login" functionality is driving me to look at other platforms when my annual renewal comes up.

I'm looking forward to sharing experiences and discussing improvements primarily in the eCommerce space.

Hi, I'm Daphne and I volunteer for my mom, Pat, who owns Books-n-things in Blountville, TN. We are a brick-and-mortar store but have a few things on our square site. We also have a few things on eBay and I personally have some things on Etsy. I handle most of the online stuff but we try to not be an online marketplace -- we try to be a local shop for local shoppers. We get our merchandise mainly from auctions and estate sales so we don't have the same items over and over again and we don't have more than one of each item on most occasions, so it is hard to keep a website updated. We have books on Biblio.com as well.

If someone is looking for something specific, we are always happy to look and see what we have. We can send pictures of our cut glass and crystal; books; knick-knacks; jewelry; and so much more.
