Local New Hampshire Artist Created Merchandise, With Fine Art Nature Prints.

I have taken all the photos and created tote bags, drawstring bags, etc. I have done well selling out of my business office but have not had luck online. It is a print on demand, so I don't know if that's the issue or the products.

I have social media accounts and am getting a lot of views but no sales. Any advice is welcome on what I can do to improve.

Greetings.  I sell hand-sewn leather rosary pouches (can be used for more than just rosaries.) This is actual leather, top grain, full grain, and suede.  No pu faux leather, low grade "genuine" or bonded leathers.  I flame test all my leather.  I have a couple websites where my pouches are listed along with other items I sell.  I decided to focus for the moment on the leather goods on my square site.  (That may change though.)

Hi Everyone,

During the pandemic I found myself doing lots of arts related projects with my children and it quickly became really something I loved to do. At the same time I also felt concerned about the stability of my Healthcare regular job. I know that sounds crazy to think how I possibly could be at risk in a healthcare role.  The thing is, no one knew at the beginning what was to come. Hospitals feel into massive financial losses with revenue and patients were becoming uninsured causing them to enter the hospital with no payer source for their bills. Outpatient non emergent procedures were being canceled. Everything was happening at once and times were uncertain and I felt right in the middle of it all.

When I would get home from work or on the weekends I realized that art became a creative outlet for me. It took my mind off the struggles at work and I enjoyed it.  So fast forward to today and that is how Willow Sky all began. My top selling items are my Signature Oyster Collection .  I hand paint oyster shells and gild them in gold leaf.

I wanted to take something that many people viewed as unwanted or no longer of value and breath life back into it. Often the simplest things go unnoticed but end up being more beautiful than one could ever imagine. The oyster collection is just that. Itโ€™s not about perfection but finding and illuminated the beauty of each oysterโ€™s imperfection. I feel the oyster story can parallel what can be experienced in our daily lives. Willow Sky oysters have an underlying purpose of encouraging us by inspiration and strength as we navigate through lifeโ€™s challenges.

My website is https://willow-sky.square.site  would love for you to explore it. I mostly sell directly to customers via my website, but I started last year with one selected store to sell wholesale to. I like to make sure my product is a mutual fit for both Willow Sky and the store.  The store that I did sell to placed 3 additional orders within 30 days of getting their first order so I will probably branch out more on the wholesale side soon in the next month or so.

My hope is that other families will enjoy my work.  I put a lot of love and careful attention in each item I create. You never know what might come next!  I am grateful for what Willow Sky has become and I would love feedback on my website or anything you would like to share.

If you would like to follow along on the journey I post most pictures on Instagram @willow_sky__

Please let me know how I can help you.

I have included an image below of two of the most sold ornaments.

Hi there. It's good to hear about the experience of others here. I am a ceramic artist based in Cambridge, MA. I sell my work in galleries, out of my studio, and online. My work includes BreadPots, designed for making no knead bread, SpiritKeeper Urns for cremation ashes, ceramic and mixed media art pieces, and site specific installation art. I am an early adopter of square for online and credit card payment and it has served me well. I find little time for dealing with updating my websites or marketing. I'm @jmotzkin on Instagram. Hi, and thank you for starting this thread! I'm a new store and am just getting the hang of selling online. I put a lot of research, care and thought into the natural products I make, and I'm still in that "why would anyone want to buy this?" phase that I'm sure you've all gone through. I'm still working on my pricing structure and would love any advice available.

I might as well take the leap and post my website here! creativecompersion.com

Have you thought about leaving Etsy and using just Square and driving traffic to square through other channels? Cost would be lower.  I pondered about using Etsy and decided against it because of the fees. I am completely happy that I only use Square. You may not have as much visibility on square at first though so maybe Etsy is beneficial to you in that aspect. If I can help in anyway let me know.  https://willow-sky.square.site

Hello, I am new here and just finished setting up/publishing my online shop up https://www.sandyscustomcreationsonline.com/ still kind of a work in progress and figuring everything out. I have had a shop on Etsy since 2012 and made sales but wanted to try something new. Most of my commission paintings have been through word of mouth locally and have kept me pretty busy over the past few years. This is something I do as a sideline since I work outside of the home but I love creating custom items for people. Any in put on how it looks would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Sandy,

I think it looks good and you will learn more and more as you go. My suggestion would be a different font maybe.  I wish square would offer more font options. I struggled with this as well. https://willow-sky.square.site.
