@TCSlaguna recently started an awesome conversation about how to use Square with Zapier and it got me thinking -- what else is in your tech stack as a retail business?
Is there anything you'd recommend to other Square sellers? Are there any new technologies or tools you are excited about implementing? And if so, how do you stay informed about the latest technological advancements in retail?
We use Canva to create all our event and marketing flyers. It's fantastic.
Google Meet and Google Calendar to keep our meetings and events in order.
RingCentral for our phone system
Solis Hotspot for when our store internet goes out
Recently we have been playing around with ChatGPT 4o to help us create our social media posts. It saves a lot of time in generating a first draft, but we like to polish it a little before posting.
We use CapCut for our video editing and mojo for photos on social media. We use onlysocial for scheduled postings. Freedom voice for our 800 number, we use ChatGPT also for item descriptions and SEO insertion on descriptions.

CapCut is a game changer!!! That and Adobe Express is extremely helpful for photo edits / resizing etc... I need to Dive more into ChatGPT!
Capcut is great, it has really improved my video editing. ChatGPT has really helped with our SEO.

I've never played with Capcut before. I just downloaded. It seems amazing.
I'm excited to step up our social media game.
Thanks @rtfulk @EcoAutoClean
@TCSlaguna One thing about capcut if you edit videos on your phone, go to the end of the video and delete the capcut logo. If you don’t their logo appears at the end.

Good to know. Thanks!
My employee who currently does our social media evidently uses Capcut, so it's just me behind the times 😅

@DinaLRosenberg I use ChatGPT for our descriptions also. I am also trying something different at the bottom of my description, I have ChatGPT put SEO keywords. I was unsure about just leaving them there at first but it blends in. Hopefully Google will pick them up and send some live my way with more clicks.
I’ve also started playing with GPT’s trying to learn how to upload an image or images and have ChatGPT make product videos for Social Media. ChatGPT is moving so fast it seems like I have to set time aside each day just to read and keep up with all the changes.

I feel the same way about how fast ChatGP and all AI is moving. Michael Stelzner from Social Media Examiner recently started a podcast about AI and Marketing - it's called "AI Explored with Michael Stelzner" and it's SO HELPFUL! I highly recommend listening to get suggestions on how to get the most from AI tools. He released an episode yesterday on Getting AI to model your unique brand voice, and they talked a bit about GPTs. When I have some downtime I'm going to definitely try to set up a GPT for exactly that!

Like everyone else is saying. ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot has been a game changer for us. I use them for descriptions, seo and meta tags, as well as checking for javascript errors and improvements in my code...
I've recently started using ChatGpt to run various KPI reports. Before I'd have to build these crazy elaborate Excel power queries, formulas, and macros to pull relevant dynamic information from our sales, but anymore, it's easier to ask ChatGPT to analyze the data for me on the go as I need it. While I am slightly fearful of our certain AI future overlords, it's made my life much better for now.
Hand down ChatGPT has been the biggest game changer and time saver for me. When I have writer's block for my newsletter, cue ChatGPT, when I need help with social media captions, ChatGPT, when I need to create new product listings or producer profiles on our website, ChatGPT, need to outline a blog post, ChatGPT, having trouble responding to a customer email, ChatGPT. I never copy and paste, but it gives me a great framework. I didn't even think to use it for help with SEO until reading through this thread, so thank you! That's next on my list. (side note, I also use ChatGPT to help with dinner suggestions, recipe creation, gift ideas. It's so helpful for so much more than just business! LOL)
Canva is my go to for graphics, I use CapCut a bit and probably should use it more.
Great recs! Been hearing more and more about CapCut!
