How do you plan to use Square in 2025 to make your business more efficient?
Hey Seller Community!
So I am just looking to see what and how other sellers plan to use Square in their business for this upcoming year.
What products or plans do you currently use now and what products or plans are you thinking about giving a try to potentially free up more time for yourself while bringing in potentially more business?
For myself, I use Invoicing and appointments only. Pretty simple and straightforward.
This year however, I am really thinking about diving into the Marketing plans that Square offers. I think by setting up and sending campaigns (not overly doing so) this can help drive customers to my site for accessories to increase sales. Or by using this as a reminder to set up their yearly vehicle appointments.
That is one of my goals to setup with Square by the New Year, what's yours?

We are pretty much using most of the the Square products to operate our business, from Square Registers, Terminals in our stores, Terminals for mobile activities to Square Online and the the great software products they offer, invoicing, marketing, gift cards etc.
We are looking to leverage Square Marketing as much as we can next year to benefit our business further. The system currently provides some fantastic functionality which we will continue to utilize with our business and we are looking forward to new and exciting functionality additions to Square Marketing next year. We would love to see Square Text marketing land here in the UK also (it's on the 2024 Christmas pressie list 🙏)

I'm right there with you on the Marketing part of it for next year. Really hoping I can find/make the time to dive into that. Along with that, I'm hoping to even find a way to include Square Loyalty into my business as well.

We use so many features from Square, And I am always looking for ways to utilize features to create better efficiencies and processes to keep things running smoothly and give our customers that above and beyond experience.
Automation is a big area that I focus on and I do quite a bit with the Square API.
My big next dream project integrated with the Square API will do as follows...
Transaction happens on Square Retail and automatically prints a barcode sticker that can be applied to the paper ticket for the order.
Then each step of the process, to fulfill the order, the barcode is scanned and updates the system regarding where the order is in the assembly line. There are five steps.
Think Dominoes when you order pizza online and can see the pizza being prepared, in the oven, out of the oven, etc.
Then on the final step, the barcode is scanned and automatically texts the customer that their order is ready, and updates the order in the system as completed.
At any time, the team can pull up a customer in Square and see the status of their order.
I am working on the beginning of this.
Would love input from anyone who works heavily on the API (as I do) and has any ideas on best accomplishing this.

I love your strategy idea @BofBArtStudio ! Off the top of my head, I'm not sure of who is doing something similar but I'm sure our team knows. I'll ask them and see if we can tag anyone in here to weigh in

API = Application Programming Interface
It is away from multiple systems to integrate with each other (talk to each other) and share data.
Utilizing the API in a system allows for custom solutions to be created for workflows.
