I want to be able to see more columns of information in the page of open tickets.

 

Date created, created by, date owner assigned, number of items, total weight, status

Agreed. It would also be nice to be able to see open tickets on the dashboard. Whether in the transactions list or it's own page/report.

 

We take orders that the customer will pay for later, but we need to make sure we get the order ready by the time they arrive.

The options provided were in great detail and will be helpful to our engineers when investigating which ways they could make these reports more detailed. The great news in this is that this request is pretty popular and adding to it will be awesome to make sure that it is seen by the appropriate product development teams. At this time, i'm going to mark this request from new to reviewed and continue to monitor and provide more information as it arises. As always, we encourage you to advise other sellers who this will be helpful to, to comment here as well to ensure that this request continues to get the attention necessary to stress the urgency to our engineers.

I would love to be able to get a report of open tickets, also.

Oh My! This feature would be SO helpful! The ability to see the Open Ticket info and run a report from the dashboard would be great!. 

We pull merchandise and hold it on open tickets, especially during the holidays. Since Square doesn't show that the item has been pulled from inventory until the transaction is complete, inventory numbers stay the same. If another customer wants the same item, staff looks at the inventory # and it shows that its available. Having a report that would show items that are on hold would really help.

I know that its been mentioned in other threads, but the ability to have items being "held" removed form inventory would be Exceptional!

Please  add this option! We do a lot of non-profit galas at our event center and use open ticket as a way to track donated drinks vs. paid drinks, and to give them an itemized report of what was actually ordered at the bar from their donated drink menu to help us negotiate a tip amount. This would be a very helpful addition. 

 

 

I agree that this report would greatly simplify my life.  I run a bar and use the tickets feature for open tabs.  Since we keep tickets open across shift changes, I need to know the total value of open tickets to correctly assign tips to staff on each side of the change.  Right now I handle this by opening the app at shift change and manually recording all open tickets on a piece of paper.  Doing this as a real time report and also after the fact would be amazing.

We go to indoor events where tokens are the only form of payment we take. We don't ring in anything under 'cash' as that would take too long with all the buttons to press so everything at that event is rung in under an open ticket. I cannot 'close' that ticket because we don't receive a cheque for sometimes a month and also we are charged fees that are taken off of that total so the accounting wouldn't match up - so I don't close these tickets until we get paid however, I would like to be able to see the stats of what was sold in an Open Ticket report - there used to be one - where did it go??? And how long until this is available? There seems to be lots of requests - and it used to be available - why change it??? This is so frustrating!

Desperately need this function!!!!
