I went ahead and merged your post to an existing thread where other Square Sellers have discussed this as well. We merge duplicate conversations together to keep like comments in one place, and to make it easier for others to find the thread in the future.
Unfortunately, this is not a feature our Product Team currently has planned. I’ve shared your feature request with our Product Team, as they are constantly improving our products based on feedback like this. Perhaps we could have a feature that only allows an administrator to make changes to the closed drawer so a user cannot just make random adjustments. Curtis Baker
I can totally see the need for a feature like this and how beneficial it could be for sellers and their staff. I'll be happy to move this over to a feature request board so that our engineers have visibility of your suggestion. We appreciate you sharing your request. While there is no time frame for when it will be implemented, i'm happy to make sure our engineers have eyes on your request.

I agree that this feature would be great to have @BistroSupport. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.
Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
Mistakes have been made during the cash drawer close and now the accounts don't match. We need to be able to amend a closed drawer if the difference is accounted for.

Since this particular feature isn’t currently available on our platform, I have updated the status to “Reviewed”. Once more information becomes available from our Product Team, a Community moderator will update the status to the next phase. Keep an eye out for the email once this change has been made.
Thank you for bringing the ability to edit your Cash Drawer reports to the Ideate Board as a Feature Request. I have added another thread where other sellers brought up a similar need.
As of now, this isn't available or planned on the roadmap for Reports.
Once our Product Team takes a look and has some more information for us, we can update the status in the process. Keep an eye out for the notification on the status change.
I would like to add to this that having the ability to add cash sales to a drawer that was not open prior to running the sale. This is something I have forgotten myself on a few occasions, where I thought I was taking a card payment and so my drawer was not open yet, but then on opening and closing the drawer it does not register the cash sale, nor is there a way to add it. Even a pop up message or something asking if you want to open your drawer when trying to take a cash payment without it being open would help!

CREATE THE OPTION TO EDIT THE CLOSED CASH DRAWER; FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE?!?!?
This option is extremely important for accounting to be accurate. Why cant you add this as an owner / administrator permission!!?? You have added so many other things to be selected / de selected; why not this important feature???
YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN PLEADING WITH YOU FOR OVER 5 YEARS, WHAT IS THE HOLD UP??
AS A NEW CUSTOMER, WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS LEADS ME TO THINK ABOUT SQUARE?
