Feature Request: Schedule classes + group sessions + multiple clients during one time slot

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community. 

The ability to book group sessions or an appointment for multiple people is one of our most popular feature requests. I went ahead and moved your post over to this thread to prevent duplicates.

We do not currently have an ideal workaround to suggest. Square Appointments right now isn't optimized for group classes, events, etc. For your business, I may suggest that you use our Square Online Store instead. You will be able to list items as Events, and then sell tickets to the events per person so they can select a quantity:

We don't currently offer class or group booking with Appointments - certainly a popular request and I know how helpful it would be for you (and many others.) 

For now the only workaround I can suggest would be scheduling overlapping sessions for each client in the group/appointment. However, it's only possible for you to create overlapping appointments manually on your calendar, so this isn't something your customer's could book.

Thanks for your patience while we work to expand the features in our Appointments app. We'll definitely let you if a better solution is available in the future.

Hi @Dogscoutsllc, this is currently a feature request (a popular one too). This means that you can schedule overlapping appointments on your Calendar in the same time slot - but only one client at a time would be able to book that time slot from your online site.

I own a personal training company and do group classes. Im having trouble letting my customers all book with me... Ie 10 customers for a 6pm appointment. Is this possible?

I was wondering when Square Appointments would be working on multiple appointments for gym owners.  Seems this has been addressed here often.  I love how this works for my personal training and would like to use it for my gym for scheduling classes.  Just wanted to keep this in the minds of the decision makers at Square.  Thanks

This thought just came to me; If my calendar is showing that I am available on Tuesday from 4 to 5pm to provide software training, for example,... , is there a way in my calendar setting to allow more than one person to book that time slot, so that I would have a group of people attending training during that time? It'd be awesome of I could set my appointments up like that. Thanks.

I have a fitness studio and I would like to create classes and allow customers to register for those classes does square offer that service in the appointments section or at all? If so does anyone know how to do that?

Hey @heathergrigg! You can use your Appointments Calendar to schedule classes - but there isn't a way for customers to book classes online yet.
