There's a lot of room to grow in the reporting department on Square's backend. The only exports available to me are in a CSV file and it would make communicating with my team and other stakeholders much easier for the option to produce a pdf like Quickbooks or Gusto.
I send a labor cost summary to our accountant for every payroll. We count inventory in certain departments at certain times throughout the year. We're a nonprofit so I need to see what has come in strictly as a tax-deductible donation. There are a lot of cases in our workflow for a robust reporting system.
Of course I can produce reports myself with the CSV files I generate, but on other tech platforms, that tedious task is done automatically.
