Feature Request: Sync inventory across multiple locations

Is there a way to have multiple locations use the same inventory? We sell orders from several locations and need to track by location, but the inventory comes from the same stock. Aside from assigning a certain amount of inventory to each location, and likely having to shuffle the inventory around within square, and possibly thinking we are out and ordering more when there's plenty in the inventory of another location... Can certain items be assigned from a central inventory stock and other items be location specific? 

 

I'm not seeing this is possible now, but is it something being considered? 

I'm using Square POS, not retail. I believe retail has a more robust inventory system, but retail is just far more in general than we need.

I am also requesting this feature be added to Square.  As it stands now, I have 4 locations (Farmers Markets) and one pooled inventory.  So each time I update inventory, I have to do it in 4 locations.  PLEASE ask your programmers to work on this option and you will make many people happy.

I need my website and the locations I have set up for my flea markets to share an inventory so that items can be picked up in any flea market or shipped without causing an inventory tracking nightmare. If I have one Product A and this Product A sells online, I need this item to become unavailable immediately across all locations but until then, I need customers to have the option to pick it up at any location. A master inventory pool would solve this issue by allowing customers to choose their ideal pickup location and receive individualized instructions for each location while still tracking inventory correctly. This is a very important feature that many of us need. I am not willing to pay $60 per month for something that should not be that complicated to begin with. Please give us an ETA on this or simply tell us if it's not happening. Thanks.

Same problem here, we have mutiple locations that uses the same physical warehouse. i've ask our Rep several time about this issue but we recieved zero indications that this is something Square developpers will work through ...

The only way Square does inventory is by location. This doesn't work for me. I have one walk-in freezer that I stalk my market trailer out of. I have locations in my Square listed by market. None of them are brick and mortar. So it's the same trailer that goes to all the different markets. The walk-in freezer is at the location listed as my farm. I do sell from the farm. But I also sell everything else out of that same walk-in freezer it's the only inventory location. Why can't I have an inventory system that, no matter what location I sell from, will show that I pulled from the freezer on the farm. I can't be the only guy that wants this.

I need this as well.  I do art shows as well as online.  I really don't want to sell items online and at an art show at the same time; and you know Murphy's Law will make it happen.  Have you seriously been "tracking" this request since 2016 and done nothing about it?  

Nothing? No one else has need for this?

As a work around you may want to look and see if Square for Retail stock transfer might be useful to you. 

So how do I start a new feature request thread? For the life of me I can't figure it out from all the links in that thing that you sent me. All I want is something that draws inventory no matter what location I'm selling from. It draws from a central pile. As a side note I spent like an hour and a half on the phone with square support, I spoke to four different people and nobody and I mean nobody got what I was trying to ask them for
