Feature Request: Sync inventory across multiple locations

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Multi-Location Inventory - All locations use same inventory

Is there a way to have multiple locations use the same inventory? We sell orders from several locations and need to track by location, but the inventory comes from the same stock. Aside from assigning a certain amount of inventory to each location, and likely having to shuffle the inventory around within square, and possibly thinking we are out and ordering more when there's plenty in the inventory of another location... Can certain items be assigned from a central inventory stock and other items be location specific? 

I'm not seeing this is possible now, but is it something being considered? 

I'm using Square POS, not retail. I believe retail has a more robust inventory system, but retail is just far more in general than we need.

Getting low stock alert on Combined stock across locations

Hi team, I wanted to know if there is a feature request to sync the stock across multiple inventory locations wherein there is a central stock of products which is kept in different locations. In this way when we see low stock of products, it is the low stock of that product after pooling across various locations instead of getting low stock for individual location.

There is definitely a need for this.  There are two ways to approach it.  One is to sync inventory across several locations.  Each location would be a "drop point" for customers to pick up their order.

The other way is to only have one location, but allow customers to select a location to pick up their order at checkout.

Solving this would be a huge win for many of us.  Please prioritize and keep us posted.  Thank you.

I need this too, we have a physical store, online shop, setting up 2 branded  specific sites and a dropship site, I'd like to link stock as one so if I sold the last packet of seeds at one location it would amend stock levels at the rest.

I'm new to square register but had it about a week I'm hoping if I sell something in-store it takes my website stock count down in the main inventory?

We use the register in our storefront and the terminal when we are traveling and vending at shows. Both automatically adjust inventory on your website.
