Feature Request: Support selecting the same modifier more than once

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Can I select the same modifier more than once?

Is there a way to select 1 modifier twice? For example, I have an item named '3 TACOS', once the item has been selected on the app, the cashier can choose the meats as modifiers: steak, fish, tofu, etc. However, sometimes guests want 2 steak and 1 fish for example. How can I make this happen?

I'd also like to chime in and add that this was requested *THREE* years ago?

I know. I know. Pandemic. Things are challenging. But this modifier would be a *great* help to many small businesses.

Our customers have gotten much better at figuring out how to use our online systems, but this really stumps them and us to try to make it work.

I also absolutely agree that this feature is supposed to be present. It feels just unfair that it still isn't.

Hi,

My client sell bagels with different flavors and Schmear.
I added to the modifiers "Flavors" and "Schmear" .

But in the "Flavors" modifier, customers can choose only one bagel with one Flavors.

He want people to choose for example 3 Asiago flavored bagels, 1 S Plain flavored bagels, etc. He want to add variations to modifires.

Does the Square provide this? How to do it?Client want looks like orderNow looks like order

It isn't currently possible to allow customers to select more than one of the same modifier, @slat2000.

I've moved your post over to this thread where others have expressed interest in this feature, so that we can provide an update here as soon as one becomes available. In the meantime, this post from @pessosices may help you figure out a way to set up your bagels that makes sense for you.

Judging by the trail of posts @pessosices, this has been an issue since at least 2018. I really thought such an important adjustment wouldnt be that difficult to implement considering it is on most food ordering sites.

Need a little help, I have an item I created called Taco Pack. It includes 10 tacos. However people can mix what type of tacos. IE- 5 Beef, 5 Chicken. How do create this option to select how many of what type of taco? Hopefully this makes since. I did create a modifier for Taco Types. Any assistance would be great.

I have a simple example where selecting the same modifier more than once would be valuable. We sell beer flights - select four 4 oz. beers for a flight. More often than we'd like folks want two of one beer plus two other beers, or even two each of two beers, because the flight is being shared.

There isn't an update on this feature, but I can get this over to our Product Team to look into this.
