Thanks, for yor feedback. I am actually asking if while using the mobile app, not Square Stand, if they will add the ability to scan your barcodes from your phone, while using the app, and have it populate to a ticket. Instead of a manual search through your inventory, or manual entry of price.
when you are adding items to a ticket, have to ability to push a "scan button", a q reader opens up, scan your bar code and it populates in the ticket. Makes you to be able to ring customers out whether there are at the actual Square Stand, and aids in productivity. It is time comsuming looking up each item from inventory when you have a busy. Often, we punch the price and complete sale, to move ppl along, and then go back update our inventory. This feature would be AWESOME.

Wouldn't it be great if you can use your camera as a barcode scanner in Square? I think this is a feature they need to add and allows me to not have to carry a Bluetooth scanner.
@Redlight2015 - It sure would! I've heard this suggestion from a number of other sellers in the past too. I'll be sure to pass along the suggestion to our product liaison team. I'll also update this thread if anything changes in the future. 👍🏻
