Is the Square Appointment app available on android devices?

Just got and android device, wondering if square appointment app is compatible with it? Not seeing app I'm store.

Hi @Carolina1 - Not sure if you saw @katieand's answer on the first page of this thread, but the Appointments app for Android is already in development and is currently in beta. Check out her post for more information on how to join the early access program.

I switched from iPhone to Android in August. I didn't realize they wouldn't have the same app for the two systems. So, unfortunately I went back in time software wise. Called Square in September to see if they had a timeline and all they could say was that they were trying to perfect the iphone version first and then releasing the Android version and no idea on the timeline. Could be months or even years. So unfortunately I had to switch software company's. Sorry square, but you are missing a huge chunk of your market by not having the same updates. You lost me to GlossGenius!

In the meantime, we always encourage our Sellers to do what's in the best interest of their business even if it means moving away from our products. We wish you continual growth and success!

So its been over a year now and STILL NO Android App for Square apointments?  This is the one thing that is holding me back from using Square appointments for my business.  It shouldn't be that difficult!!!

Hey @bodyoasis, thanks for checking in. I have some good news—we've started to roll out access to the beta app for Square Appointments. Have a look at Howard's post to learn how to participate and keep an eye out there for updates: Early Access to the Android Appointments App!

Hi!!  Any updates on rolling out the Android scheduler app?  I really would like to use it the scheduler for by business but to do so I NEED an android app.
