How often does this issue come up? Do you feel like you have the client volume to be working back-to-back pretty much every day? What if you have an 90m slot that's coming up in an hour-- do you still only want folks who are willing to take all 90m?

Interesting request @JesseCarver! I'd love to get a little more information about your request, and your business so we can share with our product team. Would forced bookings require the customer to take the next available slot? Or only make appointments at specific intervals to ensure there's less time in between customers? What would the desired outcome look like for you & your business?

Thank you for getting back to me, it would require the person booking online to take the next available slot, I had this with my previous booking software and makes more money because I can fit more people in a day. Right now I try to force bookings on my own by manipulating the schedule but my appointments are different lengths (I am a massage therapist by the way) so if I have a 90 minute slot open and someone takes it with a 60 minute massage then I have a waisted half hour, I would like to go the whole day back to back and I can't do that now without asking clients to move their appointment right after they schedule, witch I don't do. The desired outcome would be to have no unwanted gaps in my daily schedule. Please let me know if there is anything else I can tell you, thanks again.

I'd like to chime in as a massage therapist, I also think this would be a nice feature. Take my schedule on Friday, for example. I had availability between 12-2 (booked with clients starting at 2pm) and someone scheduled an hour appointment starting at 12. It would have been better if she were forced to booked at 12:30 so that there was only 30 minutes between appointments versus a full hour. Thanks.

Well, if the appointments were fourced than I would not use a system where a 90 minute slot or a 60 minute slot was only availalble, they would just get filled weather or not it was a 60 or 90 minute session because they would just book the next time availble. For instance if I already had an hour at 1 pm the next booking would be availble at 2:15 and it would start at that time weather or not it was 60 or 90 min, then the next appointment would depend on weather that last one was 60 or 90 min so it would either start at 3:30 if it was an hour or 4pm if it was an hour and a half. make sense? that was more difficult to explain than I thought lol

Thank you, this is a service I would be willing to pay extra for, and I think that there are may others that would like to see it as well, you guys are great!!!

Any progress on forced bookings? or any one else requesting this feature? I still struggle with unwanted gaps in my day.

DEFINITLY a feature I would like to see soon. This is an option on my last softwear, didnt think to check before I made the switch ๐Ÿ˜•

 

For example, If I have a normal hour day of 8-5, and have a 8:00 scheduled... I would want my 9:00 filled before a 5:00p as to not have a huge gap in my day potentially.
