changing order number for shipping

hello, new to square. just recent changed over from another online selling platform.

I am wondering if there is an option to change the order number so that they come in sequential numbers rather than being randomized?

Thank you for posting in the Community! 

Being able to edit the Order Number on your Online Store isn't an available feature yet. 

I am going to tag this as a Feature Request for our Product Team to get some eyes on. I appreciate you reaching out to get more information. This helps us evolve our products to what our sellers need.

right now it is just a series of letters and numbers at least 20 characters long. I cant decipher any sequence in it.

It would make a whole lot of sense to have whatever it be, be in sequential order. 

less room for error and easier to have internal tracking.
